Bluetooth usage and reconnection range of the HUAWEI FreeBuds/FreeLace series or WATCH Buds earphones |
The earphones can be used for music playback and voice calls at a distance of up to 10 metres in an open area without interference.
When the effective Bluetooth range is exceeded, the following issues may occur: audio from the earphones stalls, no sound is heard from the earphones, or the earphones automatically disconnect. The earphones will automatically reconnect to your phone/tablet if the earphones return to a range within 10 metres of the phone/tablet within the required time. If the earphones do not automatically reconnect, restart your phone/tablet. For details, refer to How to pair the HUAWEI FreeBuds and FreeLace series Bluetooth earphones.
Some earphones support dual-device connections. When the charging case is opened, the earphones will attempt to reconnect to the preferred device. If the HUAWEI phone paired with the earphones is connected to a HUAWEI watch, and the HUAWEI phone is not near you, the earphones will try to connect to the HUAWEI watch.
