If you can't receive new emails after logging in to your email account in the Huawei Email app, perform the following to troubleshoot the issue:
Log out of your email account and log in to it again.
A version later than EMUI 11.0: Open Email, go to > , log in to your account, and enable Sync email.
EMUI 11.0 or an earlier version: Open Email, go to , log in to your account, and enable Sync email.
Go to Email, and select Mobile data and Wi-Fi.
, locateIf you are using a non-Exchange email account, it is recommended that you swipe down from the status bar in Email to refresh the inbox, as non-Exchange emails are unable to have Sync frequency set to Automatic.
Log in to the web-based mailbox on your computer, and check whether there are new emails on the server. If there are no emails on the server, but there are new emails on your computer mailbox client, then it is likely that the computer mailbox client deletes the email copy from the server after downloading the emails. As a result, your phone can't receive new emails.
