Unable to connect my HUAWEI Eyewear series device to another device via Bluetooth

If your smart eyewear cannot connect to or its Bluetooth name cannot be found, perform the following steps:

  1. There must be sufficient battery power available. Charge your eyewear for at least 10 minutes if necessary. To check the battery level, see Check the battery level on my HUAWEI Eyewear series device.
  2. Disable and re-enable Bluetooth on your phone/tablet. (If Bluetooth cannot be enabled, troubleshoot by referring to Unable to enable or disable Bluetooth on a phone.)
  3. If the name of your eyewear already exists in the PAIRED DEVICES or MY DEVICES list, UNPAIR or ignore the device. If not, go to the next step.

  4. Set your eyewear to enter pairing mode. While the HUAWEI Eyewear 2 is being charged, press and hold the button on the charging converter for 4 seconds and then release. Wait for the indicators on the arms to flash white, which indicates that the eyewear has entered pairing mode. For details, see Pair and connect my HUAWEI Eyewear series device.

While the HUAWEI Eyewear is being charged, press and hold the button on the charging converter for about 3 seconds, the indicator will turn off, then release the button, which indicates that the eyewear has entered Pairing mode.

  5. Search for the eyewear in the list of AVAILABLE DEVICES or Other Devices. Touch the name of the eyewear to pair and connect it.

If the connection is successful, update the eyewear firmware to the latest version in a timely manner. For details, see Update my HUAWEI Eyewear series device.

If the issue persists, back up your data, take your device and proof of purchase to a nearby Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance.
