You can wear a single earphone, or place the earphone in the charging case and pair it with a new device.
- Please note that if you remove one of the earphones during use, audio may pause. In this case, resume playback manually.
- If you switch from one earphone to the other or decide to wear both earphones, audio may pause for 1 to 2 seconds as the two earphones need to connect to each other.
- The earphones cannot be individually paired and used with different devices.
FreeBuds series
Open the charging case and leave the earphones inside. Set the earphones to enter Pairing mode.
WATCH Buds
You can pair a single earphone with your phone in the Huawei Health app. To do so, touch Pairing failed in the prompt when restoring the earphone to its factory settings or connecting it to a new phone, and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the pairing. If the prompt shows Earphones not in watch..., touch Lost an earbud? and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the pairing.
- If a single WATCH Buds earphone is lost, the reset, update, and Auto-switch left & right features will be unavailable, but the other features will work as normal. In this case, there may be version compatibility issues between the watch and the earphone after the watch is updated. It is recommended that you purchase a new earphone in a timely manner.
