How to reset a phone to its factory settings |
A factory reset will erase all data from the storage space of your phone, including:
Open Settings, go to , and touch Reset phone. You will be asked to enter the lock screen password if it has been set. Please follow the on-screen prompts to reset.
1. Please make sure that the phone/tablet is turned off and the USB cable is not connected.
2. Please enter Recovery mode according to your model:

Models without physical volume buttons |
After the phone vibrates, press the power button for five times to enter Recovery mode. |

Press and hold the power button and volume up button until the phone vibrates for 5 seconds to enter Recovery mode. |
3. Please press the volume up and down keys or touch the screen to select clear data and press the power key to confirm;
4. By pressing the volume up and down keys or clicking on the touch screen, choose to restore factory settings, and press the power button to confirm;
For some models, you need to enter yes for confirmation before restoring factory settings.
5. After the factory settings are restored, touch Back to return to the Recovery screen. Touch Restart to access the device home screen.
