For European users,during the HUAWEI ID password reset process,in order to ensure the security,the system may request you to finish some security questions,such as "which one network did you connect in the past". If you can't answer the question correctly, you can click the link and submit an application to skip the security question. It takes 1-2 working days,you will receive an SMS notification in the phone number which you left in the application. If the application is approved,the system will not request you to answer the security questions,you can set a new password directly.
When providing your phone number, please make sure to add + followed by your country code. Otherwise the SMS might not be sent correctly.
Situation 2: Previous linked phone number or email address account no longer in use
Please make self-service appeals on frequently used devices and change accounts.
Mobile phone/tablet:
If you have not logged in on your mobile phone, go to Settings > Log in to HUAWEI ID > Forgot Password > Request change.
If you have logged in on your mobile phone: Settings > HUAWEI ID > Account Security > Security Centre > Change account.
After you submits the request, an SMS message will be sent to you to receive the complaint result 15 minutes later and within three days at the latest. After receiving the result, you can use the new mobile number or email address to receive the verification code to change the password.
