[HUAWEI] The step count on my watch/band won't reset back to zero

Cause:

The step count on your watch/band will automatically reset to zero at 00:00 every day. If the time on your watch/band is inconsistent with the actual time, the step count data generated during this time period may not go back to zero, as workout data generated during this time period will be stored on the cloud server and used as the data for the next day.

Solution:

  1. Connect your phone to the network, go to Settings, search for and access Date & time, and enable Set automatically to update the time.
  2. Update your band/watch to the latest version.
  3. Ensure that the time on your watch/band is consistent with that on your phone. If they are inconsistent, refer to [HUAWEI] The time on my watch/band is different from that on my phone.
  4. If the time on your watch/band is the same as that on your phone, but the step count still cannot reset to zero at 00:00, restore your watch/band to its factory settings and see if the issue is resolved.

Restoring your device to its factory settings will clear all personal data from your device, so please exercise caution when performing this operation.

If the issue persists, please call the Huawei customer service hotline for further assistance.
